Torie Weprin, LMT

Your Bellingham Massage Therapist

Torie is originally from Colorado where she grew up trail running, snowboarding, hiking and backpacking with her family. She attended Western Colorado University in Gunnison, Colorado where she competed as a student-athlete on the NCAA DII cross country and track team and competed in three National Championships for cross country. In 2014 she graduated with a BA in Exercise and Sports Science with a minor in biology. Shortly after graduation she continued her education at MountainHeart School of Bodywork in Crested Butte, Colorado and in 2016, became a Licensed Massage Therapist.

For years Torie utilized various bodywork modalities to aid in her collegiate running career and attributes much of her quick recoveries to diligent bodywork management. It is her goal to help likeminded, everyday athletes achieve similar success through bodywork.

She has always prioritized expanding her knowledge base to enhance her treatments and actively seeks out continuing education. During the COVID-19 lock down in 2020, Torie attended online classes through the Nutritional Therapy Association and became a certified Nutritional Therapy Practitioner. She also began teaching online and outdoor group HIIT fitness classes in Hood River, Oregon before moving to Bellingham.

Torie specializes in focused deep tissue work aimed at decreasing pain, increasing range of motion and circulation and lengthening or toning soft tissue. Through deep tissue, trigger point therapy, cross fiber therapy, assisted stretching and neuromuscular therapy, Torie will build you a customized integrated treatment with your health concerns in mind. Her intuitive touch and real-time problem solving has effective results with lasting benefits.

Torie is currently in classes to become a Structural Medicine Specialist in the field of Structural Integration Bodywork. Look forward to future Structural Medicine Intern appointments offered here at Summit!
