Frequently asked questions

We are musculoskeletal specialists who work in the world of conservative care. This means we address the whole system hands-on, as opposed to just addressing your symptoms through pills and surgery. We take a thorough history and physical exam and will provide you with a treatment plan depending on your diagnosis. We then use our hands and other tools available to us to get you feeling better as quickly as possible.

Most of our patients will get some combination of joint manipulation, soft tissue mobilization and a prescription of rehabilitation exercises designed specifically for each individual patient to help restore function and reduce future injury risk. At the 30 day mark we’ll sit down, talk about how you’re progressing, address any additional concerns that may have come up during the course of your treatment, and re-work the treatment plan as needed.

The body is fully interconnected and while your pain may be in one area, it can often be attributed to a dysfunction elsewhere in the body. This is part of our practice of treating the whole patient, not just the symptoms. We will make sure we relieve your pain at it’s root, to help prevent it from coming back.

Absolutely! While we specialize in athletic injuries, we treat patients of all ages, skills, and abilities.

No, you typically don’t need a referral from your physician to seek chiropractic care. In rare cases, such as auto or work injuries your insurance company may require a referral so make sure you check.

Absolutely not. Our goal is to help you get better and back to living your life as fast as possible. This means decreasing pain, increasing strength and mobility, and teaching you effective ways to help prevent these injuries from coming back.

Many people come for regular maintenance, or wellness, care because they enjoy how good they feel after treatment. This decision is completely up to them as the patient.
